Comandante along with his demonic instructor Clove Mirch daughter of Lal Mirch and Colonello and her Uncle/Godfather Reborn.
They look so bad ass don't they? Reborn is very protective of his goddaughter, those two have a very close relationship ever since she was a baby. Not only that she is the new Arcobaleno Boss, so he has to watch over her. He doesn't want anything bad to happen to his little Clove.
The other thing is...he doesn't really like Comandante who is in love with Clove. Reborn had given him fair warning not to get to close to her only because he knows that it would only be painful for the both of them when the time come due to the Arcobaleno Curse. Clove being the sky pacifier holder has a much shorter life span then the rest. Reborn was worried that if she fell in love with him it would be much harder for her to leave when her times comes and he speaks of this through experience due to losing Luce and Aria.
Even after being given warning and threat to Comandante he still continued to try and win the heart of his commander much to Reborn's dislike. Even at one point he even proposed to Clove right before they were going to leave COMSUBIN but she turned him down saying it was too soon! Of course Reborn found out about this and wasn't all happy with it. That soon lead to a chase down and Comandante getting bashed into the wall a few times, his head smashed with the end of the gun, kneed in the stomach, shot in the leg pretty much till he was very much unconscious and half alive. Luckily Clove found him before he could bleed to death and carried him off to the hospital that was near by.
